  • Manages the development and implementation of all environmental, health and safety programs
  • Conduct compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Environmental, Health, Safety and management.
  • Conduct detailed incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis
  • Provide daily guidance and direction in EHS programs to all employees
  • Conduct on-going training regarding environmental, safety and health for all employees
  • Maintain positive and proactive relations with managers and employees, as well as our customers and regulatory agencies
  • Maintain filing systems regarding worker training and safety (OSHA Logs, HazCom, Training Logs….
  • Co-ordinate and manage all worker’s compensation claims and programs.
  • Maintain accident statistics, analyze trends and propose/take action as necessary
  • Responsible for implementing global EHS management system operation
  • Responsible for minimizing environmental pollutants and improve recycling / recycling
  • Management of environmental pollutants: Under 50% of local regulation' limit.

    • QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the field of environmental health and safety
    • Required Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Environmental Health and Safety, or related field.
    • Preferred Master's degree in Risk Management, Environmental Health and Safety, or related field.
    • Preferred EHS relational skills and certificates (PE)

    SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must have home appliance experience (preferably in washing machines)
    • Must have experience with a major appliance brand (GE, Whirlpool, Electrolux, etc…)
    • We have 1M sq ft sitting on 312 acres. We have close to 950 team members. We require someone who has similar experience with the scope of this position
    • Must have experience leading a large team.
    • This position has 3 direct reports and approximately 15 indirect reports
