This position will support the Credit and Retail Services businesses (Credit Card and Retail Services) within the Credit and Retail Services Technology organization.  This position may also support other lines of business where shared platforms exist. 

Card and Retail Services is a growth area within Wells Fargo.  Key element of the growth strategy is to develop new credit card products and grow the Co-branded credit card portfolio.  To enable the growth several Technology areas with Card Technology, Digital and Enterprise Technology have to come together to deliver E2E solution. This role will be well suited for an individual with proven success in strong technology delivery experience that has been gained on top of past hands-on technology solutions crafting and delivery.  This role will partner with line of business partners and translate the business needs to various technology groups within Wells Fargo and Third Party Solutions providers and orchestrate activities to have End-to-End solutions in place and deliver it.

Primary duties & responsibilities:

  • Lead software engineer in designing, coding, testing, debugging and documenting programs/test scenarios using Agile development practices
  • Provide cross-functional and cross-organizational coordination of end-to-end test automation for projects
  • Functional\Operational technical team lead for automated end-to-end testing leveraging the Wells Fargo Test Automation Framework
  • Primary point of contact and escalation point for automated testing needs
  • Partner with cross-organizational agile teams to ensure end-to-end test coverage is obtained
  • Prioritize the workload, assign engineers to projects, and provide monthly resource forecasts to project managers
  • Lead software engineers and Statement of Work (SOW) resources in automating end-to-end test scripts leveraging the agile methodology
  • Drive to resolve issues/impediments to keep the agile sprint schedule on track
  • Manage, coordinate, and communicate test virtualization solutions
  • Make enhancements to the test automation framework
  • Provide training/guidance to other cross-organizational agile teams in leveraging the Test Automation Framework

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Java experience
  • 2 + years of leadership experience including coaching, training, and mentoring
  • 3+ years of scripting and automation experience
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience

  • Agile experience
  • Financial industry experience
  • Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of secure SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • An industry-standard technology certification



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Selenium, GIT HUB, TestNG, Jenkins, Eclipse Photon, ALM, and Maven software tools
  • Experience with Computer Associate's DevTest (Lisa) test virtualization tool
  • Experience in using Jira and Confluence
