Job Description
Alion Science and Technology is seeking an IT System Administrator to join our National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) team to support a large multi-network environment. Prospective candidates must be able to work well in a team environment and independently under general supervision.
In the position of IT System Administrator you will be supporting the Foreign Materiel Exploitation (FME) Squadron of the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). The mission objective is to help U.S. warfighters maintain their competitive edge by enabling the execution of timely exploitation of foreign aerospace and electronic systems for FME’s Global Exploitation Intelligence Group. Job Description:
The IT System Administrator will be responsible for:
Responds to and diagnoses problems through discussion with users with timely resolution.
Includes problem recognition, research, isolation, resolutions, and follow-up steps.
Provide technical advice and solutions for software, hardware, and network connectivity.
Manage, develop, maintain and support virtual environments and networks.
Server administration with servers and data backup
Work with ISSOs for RMF
Customer service for technical requests and issues.
Helpdesk tracking system for IT tickets
Education/Certifications:
Degree in Computer Science or a related Field or substitute experience in lieu of degree with five (5) years of related experience. Security+ (Required)
Additional Technical Skills /Experience Desired:
Perform MAC (Moves, Adds and Changes) duties.
Microsoft technology stacks (Office, Active Directory).
Experience with software installations with desktop application
End user hardware: notebooks, desktops, peripherals, monitors.
Good troubleshooting skills.
PowerShell scripting
Linux administration
Security Clearance:
TS/SCI clearance preferred, minimum Secret
Security Clearance: Secret
