At Wells Fargo the Risk and Finance CIO organization provides technology to several lines of businesses including Risk, Compliance, Finance, Audit and Legal with a combined technology spend in excess of $500+MM annually and is a 1100+ person global organization. Within this CIO Organization, Enterprise Credit Risk Technology (ECRT) is tasked with providing vision, setting priorities, and implementing technology capabilities across Credit Risk. 

The Enterprise Functions Technology CIO organization provides technology to several lines of businesses including Risk, Compliance, Finance, Audit and Legal with a combined technology spend in excess of $500+MM annually and is a 2000+ person global organization. Within this CIO Organization, Credit Risk Technology (CRT) is tasked with providing vision, setting priorities, and implementing technology capabilities across Credit Risk. This includes actively collaborating with senior business executives in strategic planning and ensuring integration of Credit Risk technology initiatives with enterprise strategies.

CRT is seeking an innovative and passionate Software Engineer with expertise in front end interfaces and development into back end environments as well.  This role requires significant collaboration, drive, passion, pride in work, flexibility and an appreciation for craftsmanship in the development world. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Apply your experience to design & build reliable, scalable, data-driven distributed applications and services
• Analysis and in detail Solution Design for Enterprise grade applications
• Develop solutions in an agile/scrum development environment
• Participate in code reviews, planning and estimation meetings
• Participate in cross-discipline collaboration with team members including the product owners, designers, and testers
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage within deadlines
• Coaching, mentoring and technical leadership

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years of application development and implementation experience
• 5+ years of Java experience
• 5+ years of experience with multiple RDBMS such as Oracle, MS SQL, Teradata or DB2 LUW
• 3+ years of JavaScript framework experience (YUI, Angular, Node)
• 3+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
• 1+ year of Agile experience

• An industry-standard technology certification
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• 3+ years of experience with Cloud technologies
• 2+years of Mongo DB experience
• 3+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience or a combination of both
• Experience leading medium and large-scale program architecture solutions
• 3+ years of Object Oriented Design (OOD) experience
• Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: strategies, test plans, test cases ,and test scripts development
• Design consultation experience at the highest technical level: planning, integration, implementation, scalability, and problem definition
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience

• Strong Programming in J2EE or Python
• Experience in data technologies like OLTP, OLAP, SQL, NoSQL

• Ability to work additional hours as needed
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
