Corporate Properties Technology supports Wells Fargo's Corporate Properties Group (CPG) responsible for the management of Wells Fargo's Real Estate portfolio. One of CPG's key focus areas is understanding how team members utilize space and how to enhance the team member and customer experience when interacting with a Wells Fargo location.  Analytics plays an important role in understanding how space is utilized, who uses space and future space needs.

The Corporate Properties Technology team has a position for an experienced Software Engineer QA Automation Engineer to join the team.

Primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: 

  • Design and develop automated tests scripts, including determining priority for test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement testing automation for these scenarios.
  • Develop test strategies and coordinate end-user-testing events
  • Create test documents and ensure adherence to SDLC processes
  • Analyze systems to identify potential quality issues/bugs that could affect applications and assign them to the members of the engineering team.
  • Collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot the issues and help identify resolution.
  • Participate and perform root cause analysis
  • Manage test data and ensure adherence to Wells Fargo compliance standards
  • Participate in daily scrums, stand-ups and other meetings as needed
  • Participate in release and sprint planning session
  • Be part of and collaborate with Scrum team in understanding user stories/business needs

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • 3+ years of experience testing web-based applications developed in Java or .NET framework
  • 3+ years of experience designing and implementing solutions for test automation using Selenium and Java

Desired Qualifications

  • An industry-standard technology certification
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 5+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
  • 3+ years of JIRA experience
  • 1+ year of Agile experience
  • 2+ years of SQL experience
  • MS SQL server experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of system application troubleshooting, and quality assurance application testing
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access) skills
  • Experience with MS Azure cloud computing technology
  • Experience participating in multiple concurrent projects or large scale individual projects
  • Secure SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of GitHub
  • Knowledge and understanding of AppDynamics
  • Splunk experience
  • Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change
  • Ability to consult at the highest technical level on design: planning, integration, implementation, scalability, and problem definition

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with source code management repositories, such as, TFS (Team Foundation Server), Github
  • Knowledge and understanding of change management tools, such as, PAC2000, ServiceNow
  • Ability to drive the QA process with both technical and business partners
