Sample Control Lab Technician - Garden Grove, CA

Temp-to-hire 
Shift: Mon-Fri 3pm-12 (first 2-3 weeks training will be Tue-Fri 1-10; Sat 8:30-5:30)
Salary: $15/hr 
 
Responsibilities : 

  • Able to lift at least 40 lbs but not more than 50 lbs (with assistance) 
  • Familiarize with different container types and preservatives 
  • Check for accuracy and process samples in the coolers received (temperature check, verify against paperwork, label, proper storage) 
  • Store/return samples to designated location properly 
  • Complete anomaly form to document sample discrepancy/irregularity (missing, received but not 
  • listed, broken/damaged, improper container, etc.) 
  • Assist on archiving files 
  • Strictly follow company SOP 
  • After completion, keep lab clean and safe 


Qualifications: 

  • AS in a Science Discipline Or HS diploma w/ a minimum of 1yr of experience
  • Good verbal and written communication 
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision 
  • Ability to work as a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude 
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
