Junior Research Scientist New York University College of Dentistry is seeking a full-time Junior Research Scientist within the Department of Molecular Pathobiology. The successful candidate will work on projects investigating molecular genetic mechanisms regulating embryonic development. The incumbent will assist the principal investigator's research by performing basic molecular biology and cell biology tasks such as PCR and gel electrophoresis, DNA/RNA extraction, and cell culture. They will also learn techniques using frogs as a model system for research, such as dissection and tissue staining.   Qualified applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Biology. The candidate should have experience of working in a laboratory, and proficiency in molecular biology techniques and cell culture is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
