Aetna’s Mental Wellbeing Performance Management organization delivers and manages impactful products and programs that expand convenient access to high-quality and accordable mental and behavioral health services that support all people across all stages of everyday life.

Help define and drive new product and business strategies and innovation, focused on patient experience and accelerating profitable growth for the Mental Wellbeing organization. Lead product strategy development, including robust qualitative and quantitative analyses (e.g., competitive landscape assessments, ROI and value analyses) to identify opportunities and develop strategies to drive profitable growth for the Mental Wellbeing business. Maintain external orientation with customers and work cross-functionally with leaders in sales, account management, product, and finance to measure performance and optimize business outcomes and develop new customer offerings for suite of Mental Wellbeing products and programs.

Required Qualifications
• Serve as trusted partner and advisor to business and clinical leadership, proactively identifying, influencing, and implementing customer-centric solutions
• Analyze broad healthcare and financial data, interpret results, and build robust recommendations customized for various business segments and customers, that optimize product performance and drive profitable growth across key markets and segments
• Develop strategy and approach to KPI / performance measurement of Mental Wellbeing product and suite of associated programs; proactively monitor performance and manage action plans
• Create capability maps and member archetypes to inform appropriate product service offerings and value proposition; translate opportunities into value and ROI
• Partner and liaise across the enterprise with product, operations, sales, account teams, actuarial, finance, and underwriting to translate opportunities into action for business leadership
• Act as a self-starter, building project plans and timelines to tie product strategy to implementation

• 7+ years in healthcare strategy, product, analytics, health economics, or finance
• Analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills, with ability to anticipate needs and make tradeoffs
• Experience conducting market research and driving competitive analysis, paired with internal assessments, to lead product and roadmap development
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to articulate complex concepts with simplicity to cross-functional audiences, working effectively with all levels of management and staff
• Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks, persevering through ambiguity to understand customer strategies and translate business and clinical needs into analytics products, analyses, and tools
• Ability to balance overarching big picture with keen attention to detail
• Extracting, collecting, analyzing, and interpreting health, utilization, and financial data to inform product performance
• Ability to communicate analytic and technical ideas and results to non-technical clients and summarize findings in executive summaries and presentations
• Experience in healthcare product development preferred

• MBA, MS, MPH, or other relevant master’s degree a plus
