FINANCE ANALYST - TEMPORARY POSITION

Summary:
As a Finance Analyst in the Jet Aviation finance department, you will be responsible for providing support to the Jet Aviation US operations. A wide range of activities will be a part of this role including creating/posting journal entries in the financial systems, creating customer invoices, reconciling balance sheet accounts, preparing cash flow statements, performing financial analysis, and preparation of month end financial report summaries among other finance tasks.

Main Responsibilities
  • Performs a variety of financial activities, including financial analysis, account reconciliations, and
  • month-end financial reporting.
  • Preparation of all 3 major financial statements (balance sheet, income & cash flow statement).
  • Review actual vs budget variances and provide explanations of variances.
  • Create financial reports to summarize monthly, quarterly, and annual results.
  • Track operational metrics and provide insightful reports.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations and Excel based schedules for management review.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports as requested.
  • Other duties may be assigned, as needed

  • Must be able to pass a ten year background check and pre-employment drug test.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with accounting experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to meet deadlines and demonstrate effective follow-up on assigned tasks.
  • Must be knowledgeable and proficient in Excel to create and maintain various
  • schedules/reports. Must have experience in Microsoft Office, and Word to
  • produce emails and professional letters.
  • Operational knowledge of Outlook and PowerPoint is required.
  • Must be accurate and proficient in data entry.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language fluently.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions,
  • and percentages.
