The Administration Unit of the Harvard Law School Library supports the operations of the Harvard Law School Library. The administrative Unit works closely with all library units and provides leadership and support for HR, financial activities, purchasing, facilities, events, and programming. The Financial Assistant provides diverse and complex financial, customer service and office support within the Harvard Law School Library. As the Financial Assistant you will: Serve as the principal source of information on established finance related policies and procedures and advise on options and alternatives. Prepare and maintain financial records and reports; review to assure compliance with University, Law School and/or government regulations, and notify supervisor of unusual situations. Process orders, requisitions, reimbursements, and other finance related activities. Act as a liaison with relevant financial departments at the Law School and University May assist in training, scheduling and distributing work of other staff members, students, and temporary workers. Actively participate in unit planning and goal setting. Contribute to the unit goals by accomplishing related duties as required.
