The Principal / Sr Principal Subsystems Integration Engineer will be responsible for planning and executing laboratory-based integration of vehicle subsystems and system capabilities for a manned aircraft mission. This individual will collaborate with several stakeholders (responsible engineers, software engineers, system testers, systems engineers, and lab engineers) to lead development and execution of system and subsystem integration procedures, and maintain technical cognizance of system capabilities. These integration plans will support incremental software development drops that are linked to driving milestones.
Essential Functions:
- Work in a highly collaborative team to plan and execute integration activities required for system integration - Drive process development, modification, and execution.
- Develop and execute subsystem and system level integration test procedures, and perform data analysis to validate integrated hardware and software functionality.
- Perform troubleshooting and resolution of HW/SW configuration issues on complex systems to resolve issues related to system functionality.

Basic Qualifications:
This requisition may be filled at either a Principal Engineer level or a Sr. Principal Engineer level
For a Principal Engineer a Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and a minimum of 5 years of applicable engineering experience or a Master's Degree in STEM and minimum of 3 years of applicable engineering experience.
For a Sr. Principal Engineer a Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and a minimum of 9 years of applicable engineering experience -OR-Master's Degree in STEM and minimum of 7 years of applicable experience
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret or Top Secret Clearance as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Preferred Qualifications:
Active DOD Secret Security Clearance (last investigation date within 6 years)
Previous experience with design, development, and/or integration of Air Vehicle systems and subsystems in the military aerospace environment.
Hands-on experience writing engineering modeling and simulation code
Prior airworthiness experience
Integrated Hardware/Software (Subsystem/System Feature) validation experience.
