Job Description:

Parsons is now hiring an experienced Systems Engineer with the desire to work on creating innovative, practical, solutions to support cyber security and space projects. You will be responsible for working overarching system requirements, roadmap efforts, and key management plans on government systems. 

The ideal candidate will become an integral part of a team that ensures appropriate security principles, concepts, methods, and practices are applied during the system life cycle to achieve stakeholder objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct Cyber Security Requirements

  • Analyze user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.

  • Analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities.

  • Guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.

  • Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.

  • Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.

  • Develop system Architecture and system design documentation.

  • Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment and preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.

  • Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.

  • Responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.

  • Communicate with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Systems, Engineering Science, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

  • Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.

  • Three (3) years of demonstrated experience working in the cyber security domain.

  • Must have experience in Space/Weapon/Ground/Terminal system requirements development and security design, particularly developing, reviewing, and analyzing technical CDRLs, TSRDs, and IASRDs.

  • Experience performing the responsibilities for the position listed above.

  • Must currently hold an approved DoDI 8570.01M IASAE Level II certification (CISSP, CASP CE, CSSLP).

  • Active TS/SCI and CI Polygraph required.

Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
