Job Description:

Parsons is seeking an Associate Software Developer to support the Department of Defense’s National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton, Ohio.     

NASIC is the Department of Defense’s primary source for foreign air and space threat analysis. NASIC’s mission is to discover and characterize air, space, missile, and cyber threats to enable full-spectrum multi-domain operations, drive weapon system acquisition, and inform national defense policy. 

As Associate Software Developer your role will include:

  • Supporting and enhancing production software
  • Integrating new data formats and procedures, to include:
    • Processing
    • Visualization
    • Analysis
    • Data export.
  • Supporting COTs software implementation, to include:
    • VM Ware
    • Confluence
    • Bitbucket
    • Jira
    • System Tool Kit (STK)
  • Updating production management services to modernize legacy web dissemination system
  • Providing data syncing capabilities with community signature databases

Experience with Jasper Viewer, Field Viewer, Docker, and Kubernetes highly desired.

Place of Performance: Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio

Clearance: TS/SCI required

Degree: BS (Minimum High School)

Experience: 10+ years experience

Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
