Parsons is now hiring an experienced Principal Engineer with a desire to work on infrastructure projects that change the fabric of our communities.   Parsons extensive experience in this field, combined with your engineering knowledge, will propel your career forward with opportunity for advancement with top performance.  We need our engineers to be versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team oriented environment and who have exceptional communication, analytical and management skills.   In this role you will determine methods and solutions for complex engineering problems and selects the most efficient and economical manner in meeting the objectives.  The successful candidate applies advanced engineering techniques and analyses within a discipline and may serve as a technical consultant in area of specialty for management or the client.  Willingness to travel or relocate to supplier, client, or construction site locations is expected.    

Within the rolling stock team, the Rolling Stock Engineer works throughout the lifecycle of a project: general design (AVP/PRO), consultation and selection of the supplier of the Rolling Stock (ACT Phase), detailed design phase (VISA), implementation and commercial commissioning phase (DET/EXE/AOR). 
Within the rolling stock team, the Rolling Stock Engineer ensures the specification and design of the rolling stock in line with dynamic performance and safety objectives. It also integrates Rolling Stock into the operation and maintenance environment of the Customer.
The Rolling Stock Engineer is under the responsibility of the Rolling Stock Manager. He/She reports on the progress of his/her activities to the Rolling Stock Manager..    


  • Graduated, with a technical / engineering degree
  • 3 years minimum of experience in the development or maintenance of rolling stock.
  • sense of responsibility, dynamic, self-reliant and team player
  • Excellent customer and supplier relationship, rigorous, demanding
  • Professional English spoken, written and read.
  • Professional mobility, location of the mission: Marseille / France / Europe
  • Full time CDI contract
