Job Description:

As an FPGA developer you will develop FPGA components using VHDL, Verilog, simulation tools, Object-oriented verification languages, and Xilinx/Intel/Microsemi design tools. You will be responsible for the architecture, implementation, verification/validation through Software integration test, for delivery of complex FPGAs AND ASICs systems. Develop architectures for implementation of high throughput complex designs involving Cryptographic Algorithms (VHDL, HLS) with high speed protocols– NVMe, PCIe/SRIOV, 10G-400G Ethernet, TCP/IP, and IP development/integration.

In addition, you must be able to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, to the technical team, management, and customer so as to inform them of progress, plans and potential problems and viable solutions. You must be able to apply sound planning, analysis, and programming and coding practices.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • An ACTIVE TS/SCI
  • Seven (7) years’ experience as a HDE in integrated circuit or microelectronic component design or reverse engineering of the same is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Five (5) years of additional hardware design engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Embedded C Software Developer
    • Xilinx/Intel/Microsemi design tools and FPGAs (1 of the 3)
    REL coding (VHDL or Verilog)
  • Highly skilled in Linux environments

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Embedded FPGA (eFPGA) (ex Flex Logix EFLEX or Acronix Speedcore)
    Embedded processors (ex Zynq or Microblaze or RISC)
    Use of IP cores FPGA designs
    ASIC or FPGA simulation tools
    ASIC or FPGA synthesis tools
    ASIC Static Timing Analysis

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain, or currently possess Top Secret SCI Poly clearance.
