Broadcom's Payment Security Division provides a market-leading, fintech SaaS solution (Arcot) to fight fraud when credit cards are not physically present as part of the purchase process. Processing over two billion transactions a year from hundreds of millions of consumers, our solutions are used worldwide by the world's largest banks, credit-card issuers and ecommerce merchants who recognize Arcot's advantage and value on the front-lines of fighting credit card fraud.

As an Engineering Manager in the Professional Services team, you will be instrumental in helping us simplify our delivery processes while not losing the ability to offer the bespoke solutions that our customers love.

What you will do
  • Provide technical leadership to our talented team of developers and QA. You are a passionate coach and can help grow people.
  • Identify, plan and deliver ways to streamline internal processes to increase the speed with which change can be delivered to clients without compromising quality.
  • Design, discuss, code, test and implement new features.
  • Collaborate with the core product engineering teams to curate great design to enhance our standardised model used as the foundation for client-specific customisations.
  • Never settle for 'good enough'; you'll always be on the lookout for ways that existing code & processes could be improved to improve quality, increase resilience and supportability.

Desired Experience
  • 12+ years of experience in C++, Python, Java
  • Advanced level knowledge of React, Angular, Node.js, Javascript, JQuery, CSS, and HTML5
  • Advanced knowledge of web services design, build, implementation and security. Good knowledge in GraphQL is a plus
  • Knowledge in relational databases like Oracle and/or Postgres
  • Knowledge of modern web frameworks
  • Proficiency with Git
  • Experience with unit and integration testing
  • Proficiency in shell scripting
  • Proficiency in Linux systems
  • Exposure to Ecommerce / Card-not-present (CNP) security, cryptography, cryptographic protocols & symmetric/asymmetric keys, etc. is a plus

  • BS Degree in Computer Science or related field
