The Reliability Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading all maintenance activities of the Manufacturing Plant.

The Maintenance Manager position plays a key role in both the asset health and reliability of operating equipment to ensure production targets are met while working within a safe environment.

Responsibilities include:

- Ensures all employees understand and execute Safe Work Practices

- Improves the safety, reliability, and efficiency of assets through the application of engineering expertise by providing effective solutions to reliability and maintenance issues

- Develop an effective proactive maintenance strategy for critical equipment based on asset criticality and parts criticality by partnering with the company’s Operations and Engineering teams

- Ensures that the Maintenance Team is trained on skills required for equipment reliability

- Provides technical knowledge for plant operating infrastructure: (boilers systems, air compressors, water systems and electrical infrastructure)

- Utilize critical thinking: use of logic, reasoning, and calculations to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, and approaches to solve equipment problems

- Working knowledge of pumps, blowers, compressors and packaging equipment design including fabrication, operation, repair, failure analysis and reliability improvement

The plant really needs a leader who can bring this fast-growing "start-up" to the next level. They need someone who can build the maintenance plan to include a robust PM schedule.

Someone who can build a training program for the maintenance team. Putting it bluntly, the team is currently a group of firefighters going from maintenance issue to maintenance issue with no ability to dig themselves out. They need a leader who can get these issues under control while also building a real maintenance team.
