Adjunct Faculty: MBA 5500 Information Support for Decision Making Webster University Position Number: F0230 Job Description Summary: The Department of Business at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri is recruiting adjunct faculty to teach Information Support for Decision Making in the MBA program. Applicants must possess a MIS or data analytics related graduate degree, along with relevant professional experience. Demonstrated expertise teaching graduate students online and via Zoom is required. Minimum Qualifications Masters degree in any Data analytics, MIS, related disciplines with three years of related MIS work experience. Or Business related Masters degree with 15 hours of graduate MIS and data analysis related coursework and three years of professional experience in information systems and data analysis. Preferred Qualifications Substantial experience teaching graduate coursework online, using canvas or similar LMS systems. Experience with SAP or other ERP systems. Excellent teaching skills, particularly incorporating active learning methodologies in the classroom. Strong commitment to fostering student success. Essential Duties Position Responsibilities Teach course(s) as assigned, across modalities including asynchronous online or a hybrid model in person or via Zoom. Interact with faculty course leads and other instructors across the Webster Network for orientations, working sessions and other collaborative efforts to share best practices and curricular knowledge. Maintain current knowledge of the discipline, through professional development, research or other professional activities. Meet administrative requirements and deadlines such as those for submitting course syllabi, conducting student course evaluations, and submitting final grades.
