Director HealthCore Research Clinical Effectiveness
**Location - Wilmington, DE, Watertown, MA, or Alexandria, VA office**
Responsible for HealthCore's project operations for an established Clinical Effectiveness portfolio of research, which includes Cost Effectiveness analysis, and Outcomes Research Studies support health plan decision-making
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Business lead for project execution of a multi-million dollar research portfolio.
- Oversees and leads proposal development, budget development and assists with contract execution.
- Communicates project status, timelines, end product and analysis results and value messages to internal and external customers or partners.
- Ensures that a portfolio of studies and analyses are completed on-time and on budget and to the satisfaction of clients
- Proactively evaluates project performance against plan and works with finance in the preparation of project financial analyses that provide insight into successes and shortfalls.
- Executes the vision and contributes to the design of research studies in concert with our clients.
- Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
- Thought leadership at conferences and other venues
Qualifications
- Requires a MS, MPH or PharmD in business or a life sciences field
- 5+ years of experience in health service research, epidemiology, health policy, economics or related field
- 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in leading project teams in Health Outcomes.
- 2+ years of experience managing client interactions.
- Experience with cost effectiveness analysis preferred.
- Prior hiring and management experience preferred
- Ph.D or MD preferred.
- Any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
