Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Ground Maintenance Senior Logistics Analysis is responsible for the oversight and reporting requirements for all XVIII Airborne Corps ground assets, to include Analysis monitors and provides an expert analyses on ground Systems, SORTS, Radars, Howitzers, Engineer Equipment readiness posture, Modification Work Order actions, SOUM, IM, MA messages, and logistical needs of each unit within XVIII ABN CORPS footprint. Senior Logistics Analysis monitors all supported CORPS Units monthly Army Material System Reporting requirements to higher. In addition, the Ground Maintenance Senior Logistics analysis monitors and assist with the supported units UME, Reset and refurbish programs when they are available.  


Responsibilities

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:

  • Perform oversight and reporting requirements for all XVIII Airborne Corps ground assets totaling 32,480 piece of equipment across four Divisions and Separate Brigades.
  • Supports the coordination, and facilitate the operational aspects, of other current planning, project-team, and line management
  • Complete reporting and work orders according to Army Maintenance regulations, policies, procedures, MEP/MODS, GCSS-Army and LIW/ARCOP services..
  • Attend high level maintenance and or logistical meetings in the absence of Government Personal presence.
  • Analysis, monitors and assist supporting units.

MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:  

  • Computer, multiline telephone, Multi Function Divide (MFD).

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • Must possess vision to read printed materials and computer screens; hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
  • Must be available to work during regular business hours.
  • Must be able to travel 10% of the year
  • May performing work in conditions of inclement weather, extreme heat and cold, high/low humidity, blowing sand and dust, and working in confined spaces and at heights.
  • Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment, such as a Face Mask.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

  • Function in an office environment in a stationary position approximately 25 percent of the time or more.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education/Certifications:

  • Must process a Bachelor degree or (5) years' of equivalent work experience.
  • Specific contractual requirements regarding education and experience prevail where applicable.
  • Must successfully pass a background investigation and possess and maintain a SECRET clearance.
  • Must have a Valid Driver’s License
  • Specific contractual requirements regarding education and experience prevail where applicable

Skills and Experience

  • Must possess at least five (5) years' documented experience providing senior level liaison logistics analysis support and current working knowledge of GCSS-Army in the ground maintenance field.
  • Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Outlook, and Word to transcribe information into a clear and understandable format. Must have skills in verbal and written communications to conduct meetings, evaluate plans, and prepare reports, plans, and working instructions.
  • Must be eligible for issue and possession of a Common Access Card (CAC), must be able to provide proof of US citizenship, such as a US Current Passport or US Birth Certificate.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.
  • Job duties and responsibilities may change due to contractual requirements.
  • Must have comprehensive knowledge of Army Maintenance regulations, policies, procedures, MEP/MODS, GCSS-Army and LIW/ARCOP services.
