Job Summary

AMENTUM has an opening for a Contracts Administrator in Kuwait.

This position performs various administrative and technical duties in support of Contract and Subcontract administration efforts and in accordance with governing regulations and organizational policies.

Major Job Activities:
Typically handles routine and repetitive contracting and subcontracting actions, to include preparation of simple documentation and drafting simple contractual instruments in accordance with prescribed templates and guidelines.
Prepares, organizes, and maintains contract records and files to document contract performance and compliance.
Draft Letters of Technical Direction (LOTDs) as directed with guidance.
Posts monthly updates to the CDRL tracker and master list.
Provide administrative contracting support, requiring considerable judgment and discretion, to include handling of information of a highly important and confidential nature.
Takes necessary actions to ensure contract-related information is kept strictly confidential.
Communication as directed with USG Contract Administrator.
Utilizes SharePoint for maintaining and uploading contract-related information.
Uses Microsoft Office software to prepare documents in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Completes special projects as assigned.
Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• College degree preferred; work experience may be considered in lieu of college degree.
• Five years of general clerical and administrative experience and at least one year of contracting or legal-related professional experience required.
• Possess basic working knowledge of contracting and subcontracting practices, including demonstrated experience in preparing routine associated documents.
• Possess a general knowledge of federal contract governing regulations, contract components, and military terminology.
• Ability to efficiently and effectively prioritize and manage workload, meet established deadlines, and seek continual improvements in contracting processes.
• Ability to consistently respond to emails and other correspondence in a timely manner.
• Must have an advanced-level of knowledge for MS Office Suite programs Verbal and written communications expressed in a clear and concise manner.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English Language

Work Environment, Physical Demands and Mental Demands:
Work within an office environment and associated equipment.
Work will require lifting up to 50 lbs. without restriction, prolonged sitting and walking.
Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures for extended periods of time.
Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
