Job Description

The Workshop Supervisor directs the scheduling and monitoring of maintenance and repair of Company equipment in a cost-effective manner.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Organizes and staffs the maintenance facility to meet repair and fabrication volume requirements.

  • Is responsible for training and assures assigned daily workload is completed.

  • Ensures all protective guards, safety devices, and/or proper equipment certifications are in place on all equipment before releasing from the mechanic shop.

  • Is responsible for the quality and completeness of repair or fabrication of required services.

  • Enforces security and safety standards for the facility.

  • Is responsible for keeping the facility in a clean and orderly condition.

  • Is responsible for ensuring permit to work system is maintained and up to date.

  • Is responsible for ensuring the maintenance software is up to date and performed.

  • Active in implementing and following Company Safety Management System.

Job Requirements:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • 10+ years of offshore Geotechnical industry experience.  

  • Good understanding of industrial-shop related equipment.

  • Good understanding of fabrication process flow.

  • Knowledge of equipment relating to offshore Geotechnical Drilling.
