Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager, Contracts Administrator 1 to join our team of talented, diverse individuals located in Buffalo, NY. The candidate's management responsibilities include the hands-on management and supervision of five or more contract professionals supporting the Navigation Targeting and Survivability (NTS) oganization. The candidate will manage; provide guidance and consultation in all aspects and strategies of Contract Management in dealing with Request for Proposals (RFPs), proposal development and submittal, negotiations, definitization, audits, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Arrangements, Interdivision Work Orders, Closeouts and Government/Customer Property. The candidate must possess the ability to work well with others under high-stress high-volume situations, effectively interface with multiple internal functional and program organizations, and in meeting the goals/objectives of the Amherst Systems Operating Unit. The candidate will represent the Navigation Targeting and Survivability (NTS) in dealings with external customers and will interface with all levels of Executive Management.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree (in Business Administration or related discipline) with minimum 6 years of contract experience
• Knowledge of U. S. Government procurement regulations (FAR / DFARS) • Possess excellent verbal/written communication and time management/organizational skills.
• Has the ability to obtain a Department of Defense clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Currently possess an active Department of Defense clearance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team of contract professionals supporting high volume, highly complex programs.
• International Contracting / Export Compliance experience
• Master's Degree in Business Administration
