As an automation engineer in Wells Fargo's International Technology group, you will be responsible for the development of an integrated test automation suite for all products relevant to wholesale markets out of the United States. Your primary responsibilities will involve working with quality assurance analysts, operations and product managers to understand the future roadmap and automation capabilities.  The position will report into the technology product owner for international region.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead the creation, preparation, documentation, review and execution of automation suite for the International Banking Platform domains that include Payments, DDA & Liquidity Management
  • Work with partners to establish and maintain a consistent automation methodology, including for end to end testing
  • Use advanced knowledge of the applications or banking concepts in identifying, evaluating, and resolving highly complex automation issues
  • Support automation testing efforts, driving for increased automation of testing
  • Facilitate the move towards Agile working practices
  • Partner with stakeholders both within and outside of technology on assigned projects
  • Provide direction and guidance to less experienced staff to resolve critical and non-routine scenarios


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • 5 + years of automation or regression testing experience
  • 3+ years of experience integrating or supporting Oracle's Flexcube banking application
  • 5+ years of JIRA experience
  • 5+ years of testing or quality assurance experience
  • 5 + years of experience designing and implementing solutions for test automation using Selenium and Java



Desired Qualifications

  • An industry-standard technology certification
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 5+ years of QTP, UFT or WinRunner experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of automation and engineering release development
  • Experience with business operations and credit, deposit and FX systems such as LoanIQ, Flexcube, FX Calypso, MidasPlus, OpicsPlus, Lucas, RealmMML, or Wallstreet
  • Experience learning new software on the job
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Ability to work with team members across geographies and time zones
  • Testing/QA certifications is an advantage
