Position Description:

Distribution and/or stacking of raw materials and finished product in a correct, safe, and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Operation of a lift truck in both warehouse and production areas
  • Utilizing the scanning system
  • Following and adhering to logistics ISO procedures
  • Adhere to specific measures as defined by the department and/or plant
  • Distinguishing different pack codes for different products
  • Supplying production lines with raw material
  • Loading, unloading, and storage of raw materials and finished product.
  • Inspection of trailers to ensure condition and safety of trailer as well as compliance with plant Food Safety Requirements
  • Correct and accurate completion of assigned paperwork
  • Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse
  • Responsible for reporting food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action
  • Various activities as needed to support other departments in the plant. May include non-forklift activities as well as cross training into other areas of the facility as the business demands
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must have flexibility of job assignments
  • Must be able to communicate effectively
  • Safe operation of forklift with a minimum of 2 years of forklift driving experience
  • Basic math and reading skills
  • Ability to work and communicate with others
