Responsibilities

  • Assist in research of financial, operating and/or economic data and analyzes/interprets and reports the findings.
  • Work with business partners to collect internal financial data, analyzes, tests for accuracy, identifies and resolves problems; performs basic variance and trend analyses.
  • Support operational aspects of work that may include maintaining ledger accounts to ensure accurate maintenance of financial data in various tools/systems.
  • Prepare data and assists in analysis on product line/operational/strategic plans.
  • Understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported area.
  • May participate in projects.


Market Skills and Certifications


Requirements

  • Degree Holder (Specialized in Accounting/Finance) / Good accounting knowledge with accreditation from recognized accounting bodies
  • Well versed in MAS banking regulations, such as MAS Notice 610, 649 etc
  • Strong technical skills including a good working knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory reporting in the context of Singapore and/or financial services
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Proven capabilities with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Familiar with a variety of multiple locations (regional role experience) and shared services business concept. Best practices on Accounts Payable control and knowledgeable on banking requirements/regulations across APAC regions
  • Knowledge of Oracle booking and reporting tools
