During this comprehensive program, trainees will learn Mountaire Farms operating systems from raw material sourcing through product processing and distribution to our external customers. Management Trainees will follow a rotational schedule to learn Live Operations, Processing Operations as well as Sales and Support roles. Trainees will be challenged throughout the process to perform on-the-job tasks, complete assignments, demonstrate learning mastery, develop and demonstrate Situational Leadership competencies and gain a working knowledge of the operational excellence required in each facet of the organization. Through this program, trainees gain knowledge and experience required for promotion to management positions under the direction of experienced personnel by performing the duties listed below.

The demonstrated commitment by the trainee to achieve results is central to taking full advantage of the Management Trainee Program opportunity. The trainee is expected to display the high degree of professionalism and meet the following responsibilities:
- Develop an understanding of Mountaire's vertically integrated processes within Live Operations, Processing Operations, and Sales / Support.
- Actively engage in a 50-week rotational schedule that follows the process flow of vertical integration
- Meet and exceed department learning objectives in an effective, efficient manner
- Observe experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods, processes, procedures, and standards required for performance of departmental duties
- Complete projects as required in a high-quality, timely basis
- Actively participate in progress reviews after the completion of each department training
- Demonstrate a professional approach to work at all times
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Demonstrate a problem-solving, creative approach to challenges and obstacles
- Build mutual understanding and respect among individuals and across all areas of the business
- Participate in multiple leadership development courses throughout the training program
- 0-3 years of experience
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Poultry Science, Food Science, Business Management or related majors.
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Internship experience within agriculture preferred
- Must be willing to travel (local and overnight)
