Benefits Administration/HRIS Analyst

Job Responsibilities

KBR is seeking a Benefits Administration/HRIS Analyst who is able to develop, implement, analyze, and administer results for a specialized HR function such as, compensation, benefits, HR systems, staffing, learning & development, international, other HR disciplines. This position will report to the Principal Benefits Specialist and serves as the primary contact for the following:

  • Analyze and resolve benefits/payroll interface errors from file send/receive to outsourced vendors. Partner with Benefits, HR, payroll, IT, and vendor to resolve escalated HR and system-related data issues

  • Work fall out or error reports associated with data from internal and external resources

  • Review and troubleshoot to avoid future issues.

  • Coordinate ad-hoc reporting from payroll systems and HR systems. Pull reporting from the vendor sites as needed.

  • Weekly responsibilities include download and save files to/from vendors along with associate error reports. Save associated resolution to error and fall out reporting per file/issue

  • Establish living documentation and coordination of all Benefit related white list and SSO. Coordinate with IT to implement

  • Document purpose, layout, timing, etc. for all file to/from Benefits and vendors

  • Participate in system testing for acquisitions, plan design/administration/implementations, etc. involving HRIS, vendor, and payroll systems

  • An active participant in benefits team meetings, communicate findings from the above activities.

Technical Skills

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office Excel (V-Lookup, spreadsheet applications)

  • General benefits plan design, administration, and compliance knowledge to include outsourced functions for health/life/retirement

  • Workday HRIS and payroll ADP/SAP a plus

Job Qualifications

  • An undergraduate degree in Human Resources or equivalent business-related experience

  • Three (3 yrs) benefits systems exposure and/or development

  • Knows the most effective and efficient process to get things done with a focus on continuous improvement

  • Ability to work virtually as part of a cohesive team.

  • Willing to ask questions and participate in multiple virtual meetings while accomplishing projects and tasks

  • Build strong relationships

  • Analytical and problem solver

  • Ability to work remotely

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
