Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for business compliance for financial and customer contracts and requirements
  • Participates in strategic growth planning of the business and leads strategic teams
  • Responsible for the allocation of resources from various functions (Engineering, PMO, ISC, Quality) based on planning/projections from Business Segment Managers
  • Manage headcount requirements/adjustments, as well as facilities capabilities, to meet current and projected workload
  • Ensures Business Segment strategies and goals are aligned.
  • Drive AOP and STRAP planning process through robust and accurate demand intelligence
  • Collaborate with Business Segment Managers and customers to achieve positive customer satisfaction and program/project execution
  • Ensures the identification and implement of best practices within the areas of cost, demand management, planning/scheduling, and cycle time reduction
  • Responsible for overhead rates and work with Finance and GS leadership to manage and develop strategies to realize overhead structures that support the business model
  • Accountable for plant layout and capabilities to meet current and future work needs
  • Ensure collaborative communication of the GS business strategies to functional leadership
  • Drives employee engagement strategies for entire site
  • Some business travel, up to 25%
  • Leads GS operating system including production/project status and planning meetings

You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an analytical discipline (engineering, economics, mathematics), business, or operations field.
  • Ten (10) or more years of experience working within growth, operations and/or sales environments
  • U.S. Citizenship needed to obtain and maintain required US Dept. of Energy "Q" level security clearance.

  • Proven ability to collaborate within a  matrix organization to execute strategy and operational objectives, including plans and roadmaps
  • Ability to define strategy and demonstrated performance managing initiatives to scope tasks and set goals
  • Ability to manage business and organizational vision by communicating a compelling purpose, driving change cross-organizationally, and inspiring and motivating people and organizations
