**This position is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.***

Summary:

Performs various functions associated with shipping, receiving, and distribution of material in support of KC NSC-New Mexico Operations.

Duties include:

• Prepares, ships and receives various packages and pallets of materials
• Performs inventory control activities (e.g. stocking, issuing, and cycle counting material) and associated ERP system updates
• Provides mail pick up and delivery services
• Occasionally prepares and processes Hazardous Material, including shipping
• Performs material pickup and deliveries from local vendors
• Performs transactions within computerized shipping systems
• Maintains accurate inventory control documentation and files (including documentation for hazardous material)
• Must have current driving license and excellent driving record

You Must Have:

• Two years or more experience in Shipping & Receiving, Packaging, or Inventory Control functions, to include experience performing transactions within an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) operating system
• High School Diploma or GED
• US Citizenship needed to obtain and maintain required US Dept of Energy "Q"-level security clearance.

We Value:

• Able to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs
• Current driving license and excellent driving record
• Current forklift operator's license or certification
• Experience performing transactions within Fed Ex, UPS or other common carrier shipping programs
• Hazmat shipping certifications with experience in processing Hazmat shipments
• Experience in processing government owned equipment and material
• Computer skills including the ability to utilize spreadsheets to monitor and inventory status
