Title: Vendor Management Specialist  

Duration: 12+ month

Location: Spring House PA (will work remotely until covid restrictions are lifted)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for review and administration of long-term and/or blanket purchase contracts.
  • Communicates with contracting parties on aspects relating to the fulfillment of contractual obligations. Analyzes and improves vendor efficiency.
  • Duties & Responsibilities: Generates and prepares reports from the information submitted by external vendors.
  • Provides feedback to external vendors regarding their status with company. Facilitates the vendor management process by using tools and managing relationships between the customers and the approved vendors.
  • Reviews long-term and/or blanket purchase contracts.
  • Assists in exercising screening techniques that ensure only high-quality vendors are forwarded to the customer for review.
  • Participates in Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
  • Negotiates regular vendor contract terms and conditions for supplier agreement.
  • Communicates with contracting parties on the fulfillment of contractual obligations.
  • Develops and maintains vendor performance monitoring programs and data. Facilitates and shares this information with internal customers.
  • Analyzes key performance metrics to measure vendor performance. Facilitates the resolution of any supply chain issues with engineering, operations or compliance.
  • Proactively identifies service delivery issues and provides appropriate and timely solutions.
  • Appropriately manages the customer and supplier relationship by building a professional rapport, following up consistently, and by maintaining ongoing contact and communication.

 

Qualifications:  

  • Requires 2-4 Years Work Experience

 

Education / Experience:

  • University/Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
