About the job
In this system engineer role, you’ll have the chance to:

·    Activelyengaging and interacting with strategic customers and exploring the businessopportunities and developing business cases

·    Developbattery charge management product strategy and new product roadmaps forachieving high reliable, low total solution cost.

·    Negotiatesystem spec with customers and IC designers, driving the project schedule andexecution.

·    Developingthe system engineering board and working on system/apps validation.

·    Providingtechnical trainings to customers and FAEs, and giving technical presentations.

·    Gatheruser requirements, translate them to functional specifications, and implementsolutions and enhancement projects

·    Developadvanced analog and digital chips and system products from concept to massproduction

 Minimum requirements:

·    MinimumMaster’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineeringor related field

·    MinimumCumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA

·    Experienceworking with power electronics or battery management

·    Knowledge in signal processing tools Matlab, MATHCAD,Simplis, Spice

·    Experiencewith power supply related system design: synchronous buck, boost, andbuck-boost DC-DC, or AC-DC converters.

·    In-depthknowledge of power management products, such as DC-DC converters topologies,linear regulators, battery chargers, battery chemistries, USB handshakinginterface, industrial surge standard, and board component selection.

·    Fullyunderstand the DC-DC power converter topologies and control architecture ofvoltage-mode, current mode and constant-on time control DC-DC converters.

·    Strong power converter system/apps debug experiences,and solve customer problems

·    Strong technical spec negotiation with internal andexternal customers and new product definition skills.

·    Other duties include schematics reviews, PCB layoutreviews and support of technical problems that occur during the customers'product development stages.

·    Must have understanding of and experience with systemdesign, including writing IC design specifications, developing algorithms andcreating system reference models
