Job Description
At Coram, we believe that Pharmacy Reps are a key part of maintaining constant communication between our branch team members and clients, therefore creating a positive experience for our patients.

As a Pharmacy Rep, you will work closely with the admissions team and pharmacists on all new referral coordination.
Responsible for the admissions Calendar/Team Calendar with new referral entry, timely communication with pharmacist on complex patients and providing associated documents as soon as they are available.
Assist with maintenance of patient files; ensuring completeness of home charts and all clinical documentation.
Answer and route telephone calls, calls to referrals, and assists other team members in coordination as needed. Provide administrative support – typing/faxing/tracking physician’s orders, discharging patient from service, filing of paperwork in the correct sections of the medication
Call patients to confirm delivery of coordinating with internal team members, documenting discussions in progress notes

Typical work hours for this role are Monday – Friday primarily 9am to 6pm BUT HOURS MAY VARY- Must be flexible.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year of customer service experience
- Minimum one year of working with Microsoft Office, specifically word, excel, and outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Demonstrated ability to work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications
Licensed pharmacy technician

Education
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
