This exciting role offers opportunity to:

+ Provides leadership for HiL Test Automation team contributing to the architecture, design, and implementation of world class, high-performance, intuitive and enterprise grade Test Automation.

+ Provides leadership for Test Automation team contributing to the test automation, communication protocols validations by ensuring quality and robustness of the products.

+ Recruit and retain a team of engineers and support staff to provide both local product development and engineering services to the Global engineering needs.

+ Trains, develops and motivates subordinates to achieve their professional goals and review their accomplishments.

+ Understand customer requirements and communicate them to other Eaton teams, and act as the liaison for program activities as appropriate.

+ Monitors progress and achievements on projects. Provide regular reports on development and support activities.

+ Provides expert resolution of issues and monitors integration of work.

+ Review technical concepts of projects including equipment specification and design

+ Synergies and leverages engineering capabilities across groups.

+ Champions continuous process improvements to support the Eaton Business System; DMAIC / DFSS.

Qualifications

Requirement:

+ Required: Bachelor’s in Electronics /Automotive /Computer Science engineering.

+ Total relevant work experience: 10+ years, with relevant model based development/ validation experience in Automotive domain.

+ Experience in manual & automation testing for embedded controls products

+ Experience in advanced embedded system validation toolchain like National Instruments/ ETAS/ dSPACE

+ Experience with using Matlab/Simulink for control applications - experience working with CANape, CANalyzer, ClearCase, ClearQuest development tools is highly desirable.

+ Strong Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, VBA, m-scripting

+ Responsible for design of test procedures, automation scripts, software tools

+ Execute tests, document test results and managing defect lifecycle

+ Communication protocols- CAN/ J1939/ CCP/ XCP

+ Strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills – experience working in International teams is highly recommended

+ Experience collaborating with local / global suppliers for Hardware/Software procurement, building test lab setups etc.

+ Strong technical experience in - Fieldbus communication Protocols.

+ Experience in Requirement, architecture, design & Test script reviews and requirement based testing - Unit, Integration, System testing.

+ Sound knowledge & demonstrated experience of full software development life cycle on multiple projects including requirements, design, development, verification & validation, qualification & certification.

+ Proven experience on Talent management (Hire, Develop, Retain), resource allocation and project management.

+ Sound Knowledge and experience with process frameworks (e.g CMMI) including requirements management, defect tracking, build management, change management, and configuration management tools

+ Experience collaborating with local / global suppliers for Hardware/Software procurement, building test lab setups etc. Hands on experience with Emulators and simulators.

+ System and Software reviews, FMEA.

+ Excellent communications skills. A high degree of aptitude, creativity is required.

Desired:

+ Experience in leading engineering teams delivering products & solutions.

+ Strong problem solving and software debugging skills.

+ Hands-on experience in Matlab/Simulink, Stateflow, and V & V Tools

+ Knowledge of requirement management tools DOORS and configuration management tools viz. ClearCase.

+ Demonstrated experience of software lifecycle process e.g. CMMI including requirements management, change management, defect management, configuration management tools.

+ Demonstrated experience using Six Sigma methodologies (FMEA, DFSS etc.) for product validation.
