Responsibilities

The Benefits Administrator is responsible for administering Papa John's team member benefit programs and for maintaining database and files. The Administrator will also resolve benefit questions and issues as needed.

  • Administer team member benefit programssuch ashealth & welfare and LOA.
  • Consult with and resolve team member, supervisor and vendor benefit issues and questions
  • Verify vendor premium and claim billing statements, process payments, monitor plan costs and identify problem areas.
  • Notify team members of benefit eligibility and of benefit continuation rights and responsibilities at separation
  • Coordinate benefit communication projects frominceptionthrough delivery including all aspects for writing, editing and production coordination; assess and analyze the need for benefit communications and identify innovative ways to communicate with team members about benefits
  • Coordinate benefit seminars and workshops, this includes coordinating and conducting teammemberpresentations and enrollments
  • Reviews and audits semi-monthly and monthly payroll reports, including HSA Account contribution funding.
  • Assistsemployees with the LOA process
  • Gathers information and analyzes health and benefit trends toproviderecommendations for plan improvements

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of benefits administration experience or related roles
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Benefits administration, benefits communications and/or human resources experience preferred
  • General knowledge of federal and state laws relating to benefit plans including ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA and FMLA preferred
  • HRIS experience preferred
