Job Description:

Maintenance Job Planner / Asset Management Program Support Professional

(Sr. Specialist, Project Management)

For the Logistics Business Unit Asset Management team, the successful candidate will play a key role in establishing and expanding the capabilities of our asset management program and supporting our field organizations around the world.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Job Plan Development

  • Interface with Original Equipment Manufacturers to identify manufacturer’s suggested preventive maintenance activities.
  • Work with corporate and field technical SMEs to develop a standard library of technical inspection (TI) templates.
  • Identify Bills of Material (BOM) / parts lists for assets documentation and link to maintenance activities.
  • Interface with KBR Supply Chain staff to link job plans in CMMS to Supply Chain management software.
  • Support KBR efforts to simplify its supply chain.
  • Interface with KBR Safety staff to identify safety requirements to be incorporated into job plans.
  • Interface with field personnel to receive pre-development input and post-implementation feedback regarding job plans.
  • Working with Quality, manage a formal process for development, review, approval, implementation and revision of job plans.

Program Administration

  • Maintain program standards and other documentation.
  • Oversee process to track change management requests.
  • Provide reporting and other site support.

Program Support

Depending on the skill sets of the successful candidate, this role may expand. Consideration will    be given to candidates with knowledge and experience in the following areas.

  • IBM Maximo, including Maximo Anywhere.
  • Basic maintenance management activities and routines, including Planning & Scheduling.
  • Conducting maintenance / Maximo training.
  • Advanced data management & analytics.

Skills:

Required Technical Knowledge

  • Maintenance organizations function – organizational structure, skill sets, work types, work planning and execution, work processes and procedures, reporting and metrics, inventory management.
  • General maintenance practices and requirements for different asset types.
  • Technical documentation – technical manuals, drawings, specifications, etc.
  • Safety practices associated with maintenance.
  • Work with a CMMS, especially Maximo.

Preferred Technical Knowledge

  • Reliability experience - failure modes / FMEA, PM Optimization.
  • Warehousing and supply chain principles.
  • Data management and analysis skills.

Required Workplace Knowledge

  • Attention to detail.
  • Standard PC business applications (e.g. MS Office, MS Outlook, web-based applications).
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and adapt to changing work requirements.

Education / Experience

  •  Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working within a maintenance organization.
  • Supervisory or program administration experience a plus.

Other Requirements

  • Must be willing to travel internationally.
  • Must be able to obtain a SECRET security clearance.
