Cerner's powerful and interoperable Soarian Clinicals hospital information system is a workflow and web-based software solution. It enables our customers to map clinical processes across all departments of a hospital from start to finish of the treatment chain. It facilitates the work of physicians and nurses, provides the necessary information, and supports interdisciplinary cooperation.

For Soarian Clinicals, we are looking for an Associate Senior Software Engineer (m/w/d) for our team in Berlin at the earliest possible date.

Your tasks as **Associate Senior Software Engineer** (m/f/d) include:

+ Make enhancements to existing software with minimal direction

+ Participate in code reviews and identify moderate issues or deviations from best practices

+ Collaborate on component level technical designs

+ Own and assist others in debugging and documenting root cause analysis and resolution

+ Identify process improvements at the team level to support operations and development ecosystem

+ Provide software release support

+ Mentor and train new associates within team and training programs

**Qualifications:**

**Minimum qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

+ Experience with object-oriented SW development and design

+ Knowledge of Java, C#, HTML, JavaScript, SQL

+ Experience with Eclipse, Visual Studio, Tomcat and MS-SQL-Server

+ Experience in the development of web-based user interfaces

+ Knowledge in agile software development, especially Scrum

+ Ability to work independently and team-oriented

+ Language skills: fluent German (C1) and English (C1)
