Northrop Grumman is seeking a Military Trainer M2 for U.S. Army simulation-driven training; lead, train, challenge, and mentor and oversee all facets of training for Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) simulation command post exercises to train Division and Corps Commanders and their staffs during Warfighter and Mission Rehearsal exercises at Fort Leavenworth, KS. He / She will collect and manage data pertaining to military warfighting function (WfF) (Army-M2) procedures, decisions, and orders during computer assisted military training exercises for Army Brigades, Divisions, Corps, and Army Service Component Commands. Works closely with military WfF Observer Controllers/Trainers (OC/Ts); collects simulation generated data, observer Controller/ Trainer observations, analyzes data, and prepares visual products for After Action Reviews in coordination with military WfF counterparts.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors with 6 years of experience or Masters with 4 years of experience
  • Graduate of a related Advance Course (Combat Arms preferred but other branches will be considered)
  • Minimum MEL 4-CGSC or Equivalent
  • Must possess an active Secret Clearance and be SCI eligible
  • Familiar with current Army M2t/Joint doctrine
  • Highly proficient with MS Office suite of software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree
  • Division, Corps, Army Service Component command, or Theater M2 type Command staff officer experience
  • Previous experience in computer assisted simulation training
  • Prior experience as an Observer Coach/Trainer at an Army Combat Training Center (CTC)
