Kelly Services is currently seeking a motivated Production Technician to work at a leading dental equipment manufacturer located in Orange, CA. 

As a Production Manufacturing Technician placed with Kelly Services, you will lead the equipment wellness initiative including preventative maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and recommendations for long-term improvements. This is a long-term position and the perfect place to take your career to the next level!

 

Shift:

  • 2nd Shift*: 12:30 pm – 9:00 pm

*Must be available for overtime as needed

 

Pay Rate: $17.80

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • You will read and comprehend GMP Standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Manufacturing Instructions (MI’s) and other required documents
  • You will perform tests in relation to MI's, Test instructions (TI's), and/or Test Reports (TR's)
  • Use computers and/or lab equipment to perform required tests
  • You will use existing DBS tools (i.e, 5S, Standard Work, Kanban, Kamishibai, etc.) to perform tasks
  • Cross-train within automation area to learn and support all machinery
  • Maintain a clean work area for safe and efficient operation, including replenishment of supplies
  • Work mostly independently to troubleshoot Mechanical and Pneumatic parts and equipment problems
  • You will complete various Quality Control tests to assure proper machine function

 

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of relevant production and/or automation work experience
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English and perform basic math
  • You will need to be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods of time (8 hours per day), stoop, bend, and walk throughout the shift
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude
  • Independent, creative, and solution-focused problem-solving skills
