Role Outline

The Strategy & Competitor Intelligence team analyzes a variety of high impact, dynamic opportunities and

developments in Accenture’s markets in order to create and implement strategies that will advance our growth

and competitive positioning.

We work with Accenture’s leaders across all business units to help them develop and refine their strategies. We regularly research and analyze the dynamics of our market and continuously explore new sources of shareholder value for Accenture in either existing or new markets. Our work encompasses three primary areas:

1. Corporate & Business Unit Strategy (including partnerships & alliances)

2. Strategic Monitoring & execution

3. Investment Allocation including MD&I and Ventures & Acquisitions

Qualifications and Experience

Education

Post Graduate degree in Business Administration (MBA)

Work Experience

• 10+ years’ experience in Consulting, IT Services corporate strategy or similar position with significant experience creating business cases, evaluating financial performance and performing market and competitive assessments

• Evidence of building successful working relationships at an executive level and be viewed as a subject expert whose opinion is sought where necessary

Extensive knowledge of the internal and external business environment and an ability to leverage this knowledge to create competitive business advantage

Professional Skills Requirements

• Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, and ability to understand strategic challenges and position solutions to address these

• Strong execution skills. Needs to track closely to and meet program milestones, while ensuring highest quality

• Ability to conceptualize and build executive level presentations

• Ability to work closely with leadership in a dynamic, and fast-paced environment requiring the individual to manage simultaneously several tasks, while paying attention to detail and quality

Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships at all organizational levels with internal stakeholders
