St. Ambrose University is seeking applications for a half-time (0.5 FTE) faculty lecturer position for its Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program (MPAS).  This is a 12-month position with salary and benefits commensurate with qualifications.  We are seeking a highly motivated individual who will be responsible for working with other program faculty, the program director and the medical director to contribute to teaching the didactic and clinical phases of the curriculum. In addition to teaching, this faculty member will advise and monitor student progress and serve on committees responsible for admissions, assessment and evaluation.  Current NCCPA certification with eligibility for licensure in Iowa, a MPAS degree or related field and a minimum of five years clinical experience are required.  Preference will be given for prior teaching experience in a MPAS program.  The MPAS program resides in the College of Health and Human Services which serves students preparing for careers in healthcare, education, and human services.   St. Ambrose University is an independent, comprehensive, and Catholic diocesan university firmly grounded in the liberal arts.
