Drake University seeks a student-centered professional to serve as a member of the Academic Excellence and Student Success unit.  The Coordinator for Access and Success is a member of several multi-unit teams designed to support students’ personal, academic and social success at the University. The successful candidate must possess excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication and cultural competency skills and have the ability to work collaboratively with others.  In addition, successful candidates must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of the best practices and strategies currently used in supporting retention and success for under-represented students in higher education. A Bachelor's degree is required, Master's degree in student affairs, counseling, higher education, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of work experience in advising, counseling, and/or related field. This is a full-time, 12-month, salaried position.
