Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join its team of qualified, diverse professionals engaged in supporting dynamic, and exciting programs. The successful applicant will become a part of Northrop Grumman's Mission System Global Supply Chain, Advance Mission Solutions Division. This position reports to the Supply Chain Business Unit Manager and has supervisory responsibility for a team of Supply Chain Subcontract Specialists and Division Procurement Specialists.
The duties for this role will include direct supervision of staff, assigning work priorities, and work flow. You will provide direction to team to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. You will work closely with Program Management, Business Management, Cost Account Managers, Mission Assurance and other functions as well as GSC leadership to ensure all aspects of the subcontract costs, schedule, quality and technical performance are on track to support program requirements and commitments.
You will lead a team responsible for development of subcontract specifications and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and/or services. Your team will also require leadership in preparing bid packages, analyzing and evaluating proposals, negotiating subcontract provisions, selecting or recommending subcontractors, writing awards, and managing resulting subcontracts. You will be required to communicate status/issue resolution to management and Program leadership using both effective written and verbal communication.
The individual will be responsible for mission success of their supply chain responsibilities and ensuring the development of talent to grow in GSC. Individual will work closely with the Supply Chain Subcontracts Manager and Director to meet department strategy and objectives and to manage oversight of the employees work product and individual career development needs.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 10 years minimum experience in global supply chain
- Two years of lead and/or supervisory experiences
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
- Highly effective interpersonal skills, commitment to fostering an engaging environment for others and excellent communication skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated leadership success and ability to influence direct reports, interact with peers and all levels of management in the organization.
- Experience in managing broad range of procurement styles.
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain government security clearance.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SAP.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing supply chain procurements in support of Federal customers.
- Working knowledge of Federal and Defense contracting requirements including ITAR and FAR/DFARS
- Demonstrated experience with developing complex agreements such as long term agreements, NDAs, and overriding Terms and Conditions.
