Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Contracts Management with a minimum of 3 years government contract experience. Work experience may be considered in place of education.
  • Working knowledge of FAR, SCA, DCAA and subcontract compliance.
  • Knowledge of Deltek CostPoint and Microsoft Office

 

Primary responsibilities:

  • Oversee and assist in proposal planning, writing, editing and administration of contracts.
  • Oversee the preparation and revision of contracts (to include but not limited to):
    • Review and negotiate terms and conditions.
    • Prepare contract change notices, briefs, and revisions summarizing contractual requirements and ensure contract execution in accordance with government requirements and company policy.
    • Develop and monitor direct contract budgets, program control, long-range operating plans, phasing plans, and other resource planning activities budgets
    • Track authorizations and correspondence.
    • Provide project planning, control support and create/ maintain project schedules.
    • Maintain an audit file for each contract which will include original contract, all correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications, payment schedules.
    • Assist with contract de-obligation and closeout procedures to ensure all costs are accounted for and have been billed correctly.
  • Identify potential financial challenges before those challenges becoming critical.

  • Analyze Travel Requests and Travel Expense Reports to ensure that all government and company travel regulations are followed with each trip and track expenses.
  • Maintain detailed and organized files.
  • Prepare perform and monitor contractor performance, including the reporting and status of contractor and owner deliverables.
  • Prepare and disseminate information to appropriate management and staff.
  • Ensure that the contractor complies with legal requirements, owner specifications, and government regulations.
  • Perform closing activities as needed.
  • Track payments and deadlines
  • Analyze cost and assess performance on multiple projects/project elements and mitigate risk.
  • Create purchase request packets for purchasing agent to ensure purchases made are charged to the correct project and are within that project’s scope of need.
  • Evaluate timecards in Deltek CostPoint to ensure employees charge time properly and reconcile logged time with work-plans.
