This is a great opportunity for an information security engineer who likes to be involved with and aware of many different technologies and security tools, while specializing in Data Loss Prevention (DLP).  As a member of the DLP Engineering team, you will: 

  • Represent the DLP team as a Subject Matter Expert in a variety of areas under the DLP Engineering umbrella.
  • Engage with technical and non-technical teams across the enterprise.
  • Furnish information security expertise for projects related to implementation of new technologies
  • Provide technical leadership as needed for other DLP Engineering team members.
  • Participate in daily and 24x7 on-call support for DLP software and hardware.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of information security applications and systems experience
  • 6+ years of information technology applications and systems experience
  • 5+ years of technical troubleshooting experience
  • 5+ years of Linux experience
  • 5+ years of application production support experience
  • 5+ years of experience working in a large enterprise network organization
  • 4 + years of experience with Windows server operating systems
  • 3+ years of experience working with data loss prevention
  • 3+ years of experience with the design and implementation of information security technologies
  • 2+ years of leadership or management experience including working with Information Security teams or projects



Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of network automation development through scripting
  • Knowledge and understanding of Splunk
  • Knowledge and understanding of Agile
  • Knowledge and understanding of cloud computing
  • Knowledge and understanding of database querying and creating ad hoc reporting results using SQL or similar querying methods
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical leadership including large, visible, cross group projects across multiple technologies
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Ability to translate and present complex technical data across technical and non-technical groups
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical experience including: IP routing, switching, load balancing, fire wall, and advanced network automation techniques/solutions
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge and understanding of Linux and/or Powershell scripting
  • Experience with Symantec Data Loss Prevention
  • Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) or other data correlation tools.
  • Possess a CISSP and/or SANS GIAC certification.

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
