What you will do:

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) supports Finance and partners with Regional Business stakeholders providing leadership regarding financial reporting and analytics.


  • Partners with the Division finance team to understand and validate requirements and build reporting solutions that produce accurate, timely information.
  • Performs a variety of daily, weekly and monthly reporting to support financial analysis and business trend reporting.
  • Conducts analysis of existing business processes and reports; recommends and implements process improvements.
  • Identifies and proposes opportunities for changes within various functional areas. Builds and implements new solutions.
  • Responsible for providing data expertise and consulting related to SAP, BW, BPC and PowerBI operational reporting and analytics.
  • Consults with and mentors business users to improve adoption and efficient use of all systems related to Finance job functions.
  • Develops and executes report design, evaluation, and testing.
  • Communicates effectively with business users on the status of enhancements and projects.
  • Responds to user inquiries concerning special reporting needs.
  • Serves as a key liaison between Division and Regional Companies for Business Warehouse (BW), BPC and PowerBI reporting needs. Responds to user inquiries concerning special reporting needs.
  • GRC review of new BW users.
  • Perform other projects and duties as required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or related degree field preferred

  • 4 years of prior experience in a business process analytical role with demonstrated increasing responsibility to include utilizing SAP, BW, BPC and PowerBI.

  • Prior experience with complex workflows and relational databases.

  • Ability to build effective relationships with all levels and roles in the organization.

  • Strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of how to leverage a wide variety of data and related computer tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.

  • Leadership skills to drive continuous improvement of processes.

  • Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing; listens effectively and clarifies information as needed; works well with others in a cross-functional team environment across the organization knowing who to engage to achieve results.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to include the ability to multi-task and effectively manage projects in a diverse organization.

  • Ability to create and analyze financial reports.

  • Strong computer skills to include proficiency in Google suite applications and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) as well as SAP, Business Warehouse, Business Explorer and Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC).

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
