Use your knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, building automation, etc. skills to help Honeywell deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our facilities and customers. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who guide and ensure the success of the site's commitment to the organization and its customers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·        Operate, maintain, and repair building equipment and machinery, including HVAC, temperature control, and building automation systems

·        Execute equipment and capital preventative maintenance programs

·        Ensure receipt of services for the purposes of accurate accounting and expenditure

·        Execute Health, Safety, Environmental, and Facilities (HSE&F) audits and programs with high standards. These activities include Management of Change (MOC), fire extinguishers checks, COVID compliance, and state and federal regulations, etc.

·        Identify and execute HSE&F actions assigned by Honeywell’s work orders system

·        Broaden and expand your knowledge by learning from highly experienced professionals and participating in challenging assignments

·        Conduct outreach activities and provide coordination for onsite activities of third-party contractors

·        Perform general facility maintenance activities (painting, wall repair, reconfiguration of office and laboratory furniture, etc.)

·        Broaden and expand your knowledge by learning from highly experienced professionals and participating in challenging assignments

·        Contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of high technology products by testing and/or validating equipment

·        Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

 

YOU MUST HAVE:

·        High School Diploma/GED 

·        5 years’ experience operating, maintaining, and repairing building equipment and machinery, including HVAC, temperature control, and building automation systems

·        U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance 

 

WE VALUE:

·        Associate Degree in electronics or facilities maintenance   

·        Familiarity with building fire suppression systems

·        HVAC & Low Voltage certifications

·        Ability to use computers and computer interfaces

·        Ability to identify important information and key details, and then to prioritize actions to execute

·        Clear and concise communications

·        Analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts

·        Significant relevant experience 

·        Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including early and late days and weekends if needed
