In this role you typically will:

• Develop Ground Support Equipment that Integrates and tests a complex set of processor in the loop \(PIL\), hardware in the loop \(HWIL\) a diverse set of hardware \(avionics, sensors, control hardware\) and software domains \(GNC, mission\-specific algorithms, hardware peripherals\)

• Develop & Integrate Simulations and Models to accurately predict the behavior of the system

• Develop automated test scripts, procedures, telemetry displays and documentation used to conduct System and Subsystem level testing

• Part of a team performing Component/Subsystem/System level testing\.

• Use your excellent communication skills to work across a team of the Lockheed Martin organization and Customer and subcontractors to ensure consensus and understanding of system performance and requirement verification

**Basic Qualifications:**

• Familiarity with MATLAB or Simulink programming environments

• Embedded Real Time SW experience\.

• Demonstrated experience with C/C\+\+ in Linux development environments

• System development and test experience across both hardware and software domains

• Strong team collaboration, communication and presentation skills

• Active Secret Clearance or had Secret clearance w/in the last 2 years\.

**Desired Skills:**

• Proficiency in the following engineering tools: Python, Git or GitLab,

• Previous experience with Cameo, Zuken\-E3, Redhawk, Simulation Workbench

• Experience developing software for micro or embedded processors including device drivers

• Experience understanding Integrated lower level \(e\.g\. subsystem\) models into the system model to enable a comprehensive and integrated perspective of system performance

• Demonstrated experience developing and utilizing integrated testbed environments inclusive of sensor and effector models running closed loop with flight software

• System design and test experience with one or more subsystems or disciplines outside of Software Engineering \(e\.g\., Electrical, Mechanical, GNC, Propulsion, RF, Software, etc\.\)

• Ability to work in a fast\-paced, synergetic team environment

• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive change

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
