IP
Analytics team of Honeywell’s IP COE is a leading provider of IP project
services to Honeywell SBG’s. Our service portfolio includes patent search &
analytics, patent prosecution, patent application drafting, strategic IP
projects, competitive tech intelligence and Open source software compliance. We
support SBG IP Counsels in managing their IP processes and portfolios.
Key responsibilities:
The position is primarily responsible
for assisting HTS engineers in matters involving patent related
information mining, collation, analysis and presentation of complimentary
pieces of information to enable innovative business ideas.
Assesses customer’s needs and
formulates project scope from independent client interactions. Executes
tasks from an end-to-end perspective with minimal or no guidance.
Works collaboratively with HTS
engineers, HTS counsels and IPA leaders in researching, analyzing and
presenting key observations using analytics tools.
Provides IP project support to HTS
engineering including patentability, landscape, key intelligence topics,
white space analysis and conducting innovation workshops.
Work to improve IP culture in HTS engineering
by arranging regular training sessions and helping engineering identify
key differentiators in their inventions.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronics & Communications Engineering
5+ years of experience in intellectual property function
Handle multiple tech subject matters
WE VALUE
Patent search and analytic skills
such as patentability assessment / validity studies / FTO analysis /
technology landscaping / due diligence is a must.
Should be ease with handling a wide range
of technology subjects.
Very good understanding of US, EP and
India patenting systems.
Excellent understanding of patent
classifications, standard tools and databases, various analytics
methodologies.
Dynamically manage multiple expectations
and conflicting priorities.
Strong verbal and written
communication skills, excellent presentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, team
player and ability to handle pressure.
