Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Assurance Evaluation Engineer to join our team in Hanover MD.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 The SWAEE is responsible for analyzing source code using automated Software Assurance (SwA) tools. Develops testing methodologies, formulates testing scores and creates test cases that support SwA tool analysis. Supports testing of DoD client software and interfaces with clients to define recommended remediation. Demonstrates the use of SwA tools. Creates reports and documentation.

In this role, you will:

·         Survey industry and identify new source code SwA tools and methodologies

·         Tune and run source code analysis tools, evaluating the strengths and weaknesses and determining the suitability for a given software/customer

·         Design and test source code SwA analysis processes

·         Interpret and prioritize results to remediate potential vulnerabilities 


Basic Qualifications:

·         Twelve years of experience, (eight years with a Masters Degree in software engineering, computer science or electrical engineering) in systems security engineering, software vulnerability assessment.

·         Experience in at least one of the following: Java, C, C++, or C#

·         Have experience in Agile environment or similar
